Our charity for 2026 is North West Air Ambulance.

The charity is chosen at our AGM, this is continued until the end of the year,  then anything raised the following year before the AGM is added to the running total for the new charity.

At our AGM there are about four suggestions taken from the floor for the new charity, then we take a vote from the members, the one with the most votes is declared as our new charity.

We raise charitable funds by running raffles, especially at coffee mornings, we also run tombolas, quizzes, bacon butties, cream teas, football cards and anything that a member has a suggestion for anything a bit different.

We usually raise around £2500 to £3000.

Street addresses aren’t accurate enough to specify precise locations, such as building entrances, and don’t exist for parks and many rural areas. This makes it hard to find places and prevents people from describing exactly where help is needed in an emergency.
